BeatTN is a UK charitable organisation focused on raising money to fund research into a cure for Trigeminal Neuralgia. Trigeminal Neuralgia is an excruciating, debilitating facial pain condition which can have devastating effects on the lives of sufferers.
The Charity was created by sufferers, along with their family and friends, who are determined that, rather than just coping with this terrible condition, we want to end it. We want "hope", not just to "cope".
Our intent is purely in finding a cure for TN, we are not a support organisation. There are some great organisations already doing excellent work in this area, such as the Trigeminal Neuralgia Association UK. If you are a sufferer in need of information or support, please contact TNA UK.
Our sole aim is to find a cure for TN.
We plan to do this by:
- Raising funds for research
- Raising awareness of Trigeminal Neuralgia
Where our money goes
All proceeds raised by BeatTN go directly towards research foundations that are actively trying to find a cure for Trigeminal Neuralgia.
At present, the only organisation identified is the The Facial Pain Research Foundation in the United States. They have pledged to find a cure for TN and there are a number of ground-breaking research streams currently underway.
